Wow. Thanks so much. The site confused me somewhat. What would you recommend. I plan on traveling up to 1400 miles on a round trip.

The only engine I know of that I would trust for that is a GHX50 or a HS49, maybe the bigger four strokes like used on minibikes but for something to pedal I'd do a HS49 with the RHD gearbox to a freewheel crank to your derailleur.
