hi bil; either pressure on tire is light or tire pressure is low, if its a friction kit.

Hey yldbil and welcome

Yeah that rear tire wear on a rear wheel driven motor bike/cycle is common.

I've replaced a few over the years on my motorcycles. I figured if I got 10,000
miles on a motorcycle rear tire I was doing good. Some of the people I've known that was three seasons of use.

What do the people where you work think of it ?

Welcome to the group Bill. Your coworkers will only laugh until they ride one, then they'll want one themselves. Enjoy the ride...Kelly
