1942 Colson Imperial, Done!
well, almost. waiting on some real grips, gotta make a chainguard bracket, and add a kill switch. might swap out the Brooks saddle for a big black comfy cruiser seat, and i'll probably switch the sprocket from a 30 to a 34.
if anyone's interested, this bike's for sale.
here's the pics:

That is SHARP! What are those tires? The pictures make them look like big pieces of braided hose.

Re: 1942 Colson Imperial, Done!
they're Kenda Kiniption's, 26x2.3
they got wrap around, bead to bead tread. they're designed for skateparks and ramps.
they have an awesome rounded look to them, and they have amazing traction. they don't last that long, though. i mean, they don't wear out super quick, but i think i rode about 3 months on my 24" before i needed a new rear tire.

Bairdco, you sure know how to make a guy jealous. Sweet bike. Not that I could afford it right now (delivery would be a killer) but how much are you asking for it?

Noice baird, clean & simple - I particularly like the detailing and that rear mount is fantastic

Very satisfying build, my friend. I love the paint job especially on the fenders, neat chain guard... eye candy!

Re: 1942 Colson Imperial, Done!
thanks guys, i appreciate it.
Norm, i'm trying to figure out how to get there. i have a buddy who's going, but he's bringing a real motorcycle, so if there's room i'll come along with him, if not, i think i'm stuck here.
if i sell a few bikes, i should buy a truck.
