Default pin to hold clutch arm in place GONE!

My clutch stopped working while i was on a ride. When i got back, i noticed the clutch lever had come up about a half inch. when i opened the cover, the pin or screw to hold it in place was gone. any one know what to replace it with? is it a screw or a pin? the metal on the cover looks poorly cast in that area and may even have broken off as well. help!

It was a pin. Probably be able to get some at hardware store. There have been other fixes, bolts, small nails, etc. Might want to do a search........

Take the offending part to the hardware or auto parts store and get a replacement roll pin.

Also called a tension pin I think.

All of my engines had dowel pins in this area but a TENSION PIN would be BETTER and make it less likely to fall out. I doubt your original pin fell out and instead think it was never installed at hte factory.

Perhaps another item to consider when prepping a new build just to be safe. Stuff happens.
