Angry Throttle

OK i have a cheap throttle, very cheap and it does not feel like a throttle. Where can i get a good throttle from. I dont think i installed the right way. Where are some step by step directions???

When not installed correctly it does indeed feel cheap. Have you taken the carb slide barrel out and felt the throttle then? You'll need to mess with both sides of the tensioner to get the right feel and spring(twist) back. I'm assuming HT/CG engine here.

Did you lube the inside of the throttle housing and where it goes over the handlebar?

Sometimes a little trimming and sanding goes a long way to make the throttle feel right or good.

If you know what a throttle should "feel like" then you already know where to buy a throttle, a motorcycle shop. Take the cheasey one with you and find one with the right sized cable end.

ok thanks you all i took the throttle apart and know it feels better, but i think i might still get another one.
