Default Want to mount a motor on mountain bike

i have been looking at the kits,measuring my bike for a ring belt drive but still looking at 4 stroke ,two stroke,motor sizes can't make the decision no which one would work best,can anyone give me some help.I weight 228, want to trail ride maybe on the road a little! have a china mountain bike had to stop riding my old knees started giving me trouble, i rode almost everyday for a long time! any help on this would be appreciated.From East Texas! Thanks

Welcome Hamop to the forum, glad you joined

2-stroke...the 70cc has got little more torque then the 48cc I think if you used a 50t sprocket you will be okay

4-stroke dont know to much about them...

I forgot to mention..for the 4-stroke check out Thats Dax titan chain drive...I've heard nothing but good thing's about it

Thanks looked at it,question how does the sprocket mount on the wheel? can't see how it does looking at the pics!

It mounts the same way as a two stroke does. Although Cruiser has got a cool set-up where the sproket mount's to the hub

If you have rear disc brake, King's sales and service (see ad on top left of page) can do sprockets to mount to the disc hub. You'd have to find a new rear brake though.
