TOTAL newbie and I dont know a thing about these.
I've searched, but I found no answers to simple questions:
I want to start cheap:
What is the best (easiest) bike to use for these? A MB, ten-speed, 3 speed, etc?
Drum brake? NON drum?
What kits should I stay AWAY from?

Any and all of them. My preference is the "beach cruiser" style, but you can motorize just about any bike you like with very few exceptions. The deciding factors would be but not limited to type of engine you want to use (2 or 4 stroke) the type of drive you want and in frame mount or a rack mount. Look around the different forums and see what suits you and your needs/wants. Have fun with this as it can be as easy or as difficult as you make it....keep it simple or do a total custom ride....just have fun. BTW....Im in Millsboro, DE.

That's pretty much where I'm at. Easton.

Ok, I just bought a 66/80cc.
Gonna get a Beach Cruiser from Walmart. So everything will be new.
I can't wait to get started :)

BTW: what is this "66/80cc" mean anyway. Is it 66 or 80cc? (or really 49cc)

Did I do ok? Any suggestions yet?

Hello muldrick, Welcome to the forum
