Can you use a Resistor spark plug?
Hey guys!
Just wondering if anybody knows about 'Resistor' type spark plugs.
I have an NGK BR7HS which I assume is the same as a B7HS but with a resistor. It seems to work fine but I really don't want to damage my CDI if that is at all possible

It shouldn't hurt anything.....I do wish I knew the KV output of the CDI though.

Well my high tension spark lead has 20kV written on it if that helps...
I guess it must be under that?

Yeah it's not really strong....guessing in the under 10KV range but I could be full of stuff....it works better with a small gap.

Re: Can you use a Resistor spark plug?
It won't hurt the CDI, it will reduce noise and spark output.
