Default first build board tracker

Hey there.
Just started this build and since the garage is too small for car building anymore I thought this would be an economical and space effective way to turn some wrenches and build something old and cool. Just getting started but you get the idea. Any suggestions?

Have you dry fitted a motor into the frame? Looks as if it may be tight!!

Not to knock your design but, if you have the capabilities... why not loop it? Most board trackers (that I've seen) have a looped frame. Images courtesy of Crazyhorse

i might have to in the end. i'm just not a big fan of all the empty space a loop gives you. it makes the engine look even smaller.

well after getting the motor last night and trying to size it up. I had to do some adjustments. I guess you could call this bike a "modified" board track racer. i'll post some pics later.

Make sure you put the manifold, carb and filter on when mocking it up.... I say this from trial and error...mainly error!!
