Default raw engine- kill switch bad?

my new 66cc raw motor has finally been installed but why don't my kill switch work?

Because they are notoriously bad pieces of junk. You can take them apart and make them work, or just buy a new quality one. Or, omit it completely.

Mine, also a RAW, for what that's worth, will kill the bike immediately sometimes, and other times after many seconds of holding it. I have mine wired to white and frame, and from what I've seen around here, it's behaving normally.

The kill buttons on most every kit out there are 'hit or miss'.
Whenever someone asks why their bike isn't running, most people first suggest disconnecting the kill button!
I've found that the best way to wire them is to attach one wire to the blues & the other to the blacks, & cap off the white.

Try grounding it to the motor mount, a bigger screw than probably it was set up for. If it came with a smaller eyelit, cut it off, strip it and install a bigger eyelit to the motor mount, and try it.
