I am back from the dead, a lot has changed since I started the project. So it has been sitting untouched since I posted this. I would like to get back started on this project and would like to know what the best way would be to mount the motor to the front. I can't for the life of me figure it out.

In regards to the muffler I am going to put it in a vice once I mount the motor and find the proper bend for it.

Welcome back! I saw this thread a while ago about alternative mounts using off-the-shelf-parts, should give you some good ideas:

With the engine higher, you may not need to bend the exhaust, eh?
