Default Fuel line

I'd been using the semi-clear fuel line from the kit, even though I knew it wouldn't last long. Happened to be in the garage for a smoke, and looked over the bike for a bit. It's been very cold the last week or so. The fuel line is split at the bottom of the fuel filter, barely holding on. I'll be replacing it before I go anywhere else.

It's been about zero degrees F around here, but the bike has been in the garage, where snow from car tires melts on the ground. The fuel line still split. Word to the wise: ditch the stock fuel line.

Good tip. I never even installed the original fuel line, but instead used a 3/16" fuel line from Napa auto parts - they sell it by the foot.
