Default just another new guy

Hello all, I am from Pa. Rode big bkies, scooters but never a powered bicycle. But made up my mind to get one or put one together. Always worked wit tools of one kind or another but never fooled with motors. So gearing, sprockets etc I am lost. I make knives for a paying hobby (not much though) along with some wood working. These seem to be simple machines and am surprised as to how many folks are into it. Now to find the right thread to post questions. Thanks for reading and merry xmas. Pat

Welcome to the forum. If you are comfortable with using basic tools, installing a motor kit will not be a problem for you. Just don't use a chopper or stretch frame on the first build. They require some fab and tweaks.
