Default Is this CRAZY???

Ok so i want to build a moterized bike and i thought it would be awsome to take a shifter kit/JAck shaft from sick bikes parts but instead of having the chain go into the frame i would have it go out the to the back rack where i would have an engine mouted, i thnk about 4 horse...OR is the shaft from the engine spun the right way i could go strait to a free wheel on the front sprocket. Is this a good idea

What do you mean by killer chain? Are you just talking about the chain between the engine and jack shat.

4 hp may be a bit much, but it's all about having fun, and experimenting.

Scary fast ... I bet you could do an honest 45 or 50 with the right gearing.
