Have any of you guys used a B&S L-head engine like a 4 or 5 horse power on a bike? i have been rebuilding L-heads that i find lately for fun and i think i want to put one on a bike instead of a 2 stroke this time. Do any of you guys have any tips or pics that will help me?

Thanks

i did that on a minibike, you would need a large frame for it to fit, honesty you should just make a push trailer with a small 6" wheel or something, but if you were to make a frame mount jut make sure you get a good gear ratio, larger sprocket is better, then just run a chain, its easy stuff just getting a large enough sprocket is the problem, weld a plate into the v of the bike frame and bolt the engine down, 5hp is pretty darn good for a bike! you would fly on that thing!
