Default Inspecting New China Girl ENGINE

I believe inspecting your China Girl Engine right out of the
factory box is very important in the long run. One is to check
for proper installation of the thin crankcase seal behind the
electrical magnet and magneto. It is very easy to see this
crankcase seal and if it shows a bulge out anywhere on the
seal, it is a sure sign of an oil leak to come.

I would go so far as removing the head and cylinder to check for debris in the crank case. I would also replace the acorn nuts for the cylinder studs while I was at it. Those are a bad deal and can cause one to strip their case if the studs are too long and bottom out in the acorn nut. I know, I did it.
