Hi Guys,
Been READING alot and now its time to POST.
2nd thread

2 more to go.

This was my first build, Murray Monterey with mountain bike parts and a FiveFlags 48cc kit, it got me to work for bout 6mos b4 the chain stretched and some bolts fell out. then I rode it for a good long ride and BAM the frame broke in half. so I took off the motor and parts. The frame was garbage.

Hi Interesting I have 2 of those Murray frames motorized, where did it break?

Well there's your problem right there... "it's a murray!!!"

it broke at the point where the down tube and head tube meet, doing 25mph at the time was pretty fun don'tcha NO. anyway, I wasn't done, I liked that little machine so ...
