He pulled it off well. Maybe your friend will let you share the details on that modified top tube, since there is a good bit of interest on motorizing BMX bikes on this site.

not sure of the sprocket setup, but looks like its a 44 tooth, a 30T would be better on them small wheels

havent tried it yet, but with that setup it should have torque,sacrificing top speed
