Default Racing Carb probl.

Thanks everyone and everyones entries have helped me with my new engine kit install, allthough, im having problems wih installing my new racing carb. The engine doesn't fit , The bikes frame small, need to slant the manifold to the side nest to the bike seat for it to fit on my mountain bike. Can that be done by welding onto the manifold and aditional copper, aluminum or steel to extend it. or will it hurt the engine, carb or anything else on the bike?

Thanks, Manny

I've heard a few use copper 90 or 45 degree fitting silver soldered to the intake pipe to move the carb to fit...good luck and welcome aboard!
