Default what is yours?

It is 49damp degrees here today. I need to test ride a bike I am working on but I haven't found the desire to test stronger than my aversion to the weather out there. It is supposed to get up to 59 today maybe later I can manage a quick ride around the block.

My lower temperature ride limit changes as the year goes bye. A sunny forty degrees is a lot different for me than a cloudy forty so the rules are hard to set. I just know I'm not ready to go out today just yet.

So how about you? Do you have a limit?

it's 61 and foggy near the beach right now. i was waiting for the fog to burn off, but i don't think it's gonna, so i'll just have to wear jeans today, i guess.

i've climbed towers in sub-zero weather, and learned a lot about what to wear when it's cold.

get some thin, neoprene diving socks and gloves. like wetsuit stuff. your hands will stay steamy warm, and you can still use your fingers on bolts and stuff.

luckily, the coldest ride i'll probably take around here will be 50, but to me, that's pretty chilly.
