Default Rat Rod Gas Tank From A Dirt Packer

This is a gas tank from a machine I found in a dumpster. I cut a bike frame so that tank could be welded on. Tank had the 3 bolts on each side so it can be removed. I am trying to have like a rat rod look to the alley found frame. Made some handle bars, forks, seat mount. Put some white tires w/ heavy duty wheels. Will make longer muffler so tires will stay cleaner. Bike is almost ready to ride and then it will be painted or grinded to have the bare metal look ?

Thumbs up Re: Rat Rod Gas Tank From A Dirt Packer

thanks for the idea. better to save money and rip it from a power tool than have it custom made.

Great idea. I like the way you mounted the seat too.

Same kind of machine I got this tank from. It was plastic though, so I wrapped it in sheet metal.
