Unhappy Oh man! Can't ride..

I broke my c clip in to two pieces while trying to adjust it.. so i cant ride now cause i got no c clip on the needle.. Just ordered a new carb from the guy i ordered my engine from..


No riding for a week i guess..

Someone posted this a while back, they'd lost their C clip so they just made one by cutting a slot in a flat washer.

If you mean the e clip those are pretty much a standard part and can be bought at any hardware store.

I broke the clip which is on my carb needle..

What is it called? C clip or E clip?

THEY do sell it in hardware stores??

Checked 2 stores..They dont have it..

I had one pop off into the ozone a couple years back. Made a new one out of steel wire. It's still going.

yeah once i took my carb apart and forgot to put the clip back into the carb, it still ran fine it just took a few seconds to return to idle, if you want to wait a week thats fine but if your getting a whole new carb then you might aswell try anything, try some jb weld in there,

Heck a twist tie would work in a pinch, just peel the plastic part off and wrap it around the correct slot in the needle a few times then twist the ends together.
