I've used them on a couple of my builds just as foot pegs. I'm not sure they would carry the weight of a person standing on them. Because they mount on the outside of the axel, the axel may bend.

Get the kind that you use instead of the wheel nuts... those are strong!

wouldnt it be uncomfortable to use them as footpegs since to put your feet on them youd have to lay on the seat or something?

This works for passengers sitting on the luggage rack. Two locals use them, one for his girlfriend and the other guy carries his buddy. Personally I find it too risky for a motorized bike.

it is actually against the law to ride double on a bicycle. unless the bicycle was meant for two riders! the police overlook bicycle riders, especially kids who ride on handlebars or foot pegs.

unless it was meant for two and has a seat and foot rest for a passenger its illegal to ride double. its more a safety concern than anything! I remember when I was 5 and the neighbor girl decicded to put me on the bicycle rack for a ride and got my foot ate up by the spokes. ouch that hurt, I looked down and saw blood. the other neighbor saw this and ran over and scooped me up from the road and ran me home. my foot and especially my big toe was skinned up real good and have a scar to show to this day.
