Default New to this bike think

I bought a bicycle at a yard sale, and a motor kit on ebay. Put it all together and now I am hooked. I would like to put a gear drive kit on it but they cost more than the motor kit did. Any info on the gear kit would be appreciated.

Wecome to the bike forum Hotbiker, I am BLAKENSTEIN "the happy face guy" I have a rear mount system with a chain drive and do you know what?? people look at my bike and they don't realize that my rear bike sprockets are on a free wheel that work separately from the motor chain sprocket.A gear drive would be nice- I saw someone that who made his own.You might end up having to do that, but what would you want to do that for? motorcycles have chain drive, moast of them anyway.

Welcome to the forum hot biker, glad you joined us.

I believe you are asking about the shifter kit? Here are some threads about it.
