No.2 if you have to use one of the three. Why? Because you will be riding on pavement 99% of the time, no?

I don't care much about speed. I want stability. I will be riding on pavement, in the bike lane, on gravel, and sometimes on a little grass.

I'd still go for No. 2.

Yes, the side lugs bother me on No. 1 for turning on pavement....I have run the "No. 3 " tire and it's just plain bad.

I like #2 because the center strip will help reduce the vibration on the bars when you're cruising the streets.

#2 is defo a winner, smooth center for speed/efficiency/wear/less vibration but still has some bite for other than pavement.
Mine's a touch more aggressive, but I do a lot of trails. The interlocking centerband makes a world of difference on pavement!

No2, Amanda remember riding on grass is like riding on an oil slick and you can be on your butt really quick if your not careful. No2 tire is more of a all purpose tire and gives you the best tread for different surfaces in my opinion.

#2 looks like the Kenda's on one of my bikes. Works great, is a smooth street ride and handles dirt roads also.
