Hey everybody, I'm new to this, but very excited to get my project started, any tips for a beginner?

find yourself a nice quiet place, away from distractions to build it.

that way, when something's not working right, no one will hear you swearing and chucking tools at the wall...

no, honestly, the little misadventures are part of the fun. if you have any problems, just look around the forum. almost everything's been covered.

JUST STICK AROUND ANYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW WILL BE REVEALED we are like the freemasons of junky engines, but it is so much fun when you finally make one of these things run as it should, good luck and welcome. frank

no. they're actually, virtually indestructable. but... it's still a low budget, cheap a** piece of crap, with no quality control, no tech support...

it's a hobby. trials and tribulations.

and when you're wide open throttle on your bike, you'll know. then, you're hooked.

Brakes that work every time would be a start. Check them often.
