Need ideas

I'm going to be running a chainsaw engine of my bike, and I'm going to have functional pedals as well. I will be able to pedal my bike with the engine running because the chainsaw sprocket is free to turn. The only issue I have is trying to get ideas of how to stop my pedals from spinning once I give it gas and the clutch on the chainsaw engages. Any ideas?

You also need to get a free wheeling crank set so the engine spins the crank gear and not the peddles
