Default Rear drum brakes...

is it possible without a jack-shaft kit?

Thinking of what to do with the bike over the winter and the definite mods are:

DIY springer fork
Front drum brake
Weld up the motor mounts to the frame

But I figure as long as I'm lacing one wheel I might as well do two and put a XRD rear hub in BUT from what I can see it looks like there's no way a hub mount sprocket kit would work since it's tapered and it also looks like the hub is too big to mount a sprocket to the spokes.
