I've been lurking here awhile trying to gain as much info on building a motorized bike as possible. I'm still on the fence as I'm concerned about the noise level emitted. I live in a larger development where each home has less than a quarter acre lot and I was looking to use it primarily to drive around the development for pleasure. However, I'm reluctant to spend the time to build one if it's going to annoy the neighbors and cause problems. I wish I could hear one in person to guage the volume.

Welcome to the forum. These kits are neighbor friendly with the stock mufflers.
If you want more quiet, you can add some fiberglass packing to your muffler.
