Any feedback on the 4gt belt drive?

hi folks, has anyone done many miles/kms on one of these yet?

i asked the seller if he could sell me the gearbox without the motor,unfortunately he couldnt. he said only 100 have been made,50 went to the U.S and 5o came here to Australia.really like to get some feedback on these babys before buying one..

I don't believe the folks at Birddog/bicycle-engines.com are actually selling them yet. There are some threads over at the other forum where Jason/Biketec has shown a couple of builds. One shows it as a rackmount on a full suspension bike and the other shows it in a frame mount. But there website does not show the kit available as of yet.

Are you aware that this 4th gen drivetrain will not be a direct bolt up to the Honda GXH50 or the Clone motor that most of us currently have? This new drivetrain is made to fit the mounting configuration that comes on the 33cc/35cc motors or the 50cc 4-stroke like Daxs Titan.

I didn't pay attention to the fact that you are in Austraila and not the U.S. The information above pertains to the Honda and Clone motors that have been available for sale her in the States for the past couple of years.
