Default My First 1 2 (& lovin it)

Hey all! Finished my first (of many more) bike last week.
Six hours to build, (many mods)
and two days to true it up.
It's an 80 CC Grubee on a
26" '70s era Puch Mountain bike.
I'm now having so much fun; I'm
probably breaking some sort of laws.

Next I'm going to design a side-car for it.
(gotta haul the beer somehow
Here's a pic. (I hope)

Welcome crzyolphart

After the first time one of these bikes fires up , it's hard to wipe the smile off of your face .
There are a few threads about sidecars . Look around and /or ask questions . We are eager to please . That looks like a comfortable seat . ....D.J.

Thanx D.J.!
The bike Originally had a super stiff double bun road seat. How they could EVER be comfortable; I don't know? A friend had an old Hawthorn beach cruiser in his garage he was throwing out. The seat was the only thing salvageable. (luckily) I can hardly feel the road under me now. '...wipe the smile off of your face ."? Yeah!
Or the bugs out of your teeth!

Thanks Saddletramp !
Just spent an hour wiping the oil off the crank & rear wheel.
Changed out off that HORRIBLE 16:1 mix! (Geez! What a MESS)!
After wiping down the center stand; I probably could've squeezed a QUART out of the rag!!?? Running a WHOLE LOT smoother now too! I'm at 32:1 now. How lean do you guys think I can go? (safely)

After an exhaustive test, I have found that the grease from two big Mac's and an order of fries is enough to lube the drive chain for 102.4 miles. Apple pies don't contain much grease so don't waste yer time.

Talking Re: My First 1 2 (& lovin it)

After many changes & updates; I felt I should post a new picture.
The bike is running very well, but, is getting harder to start.
(I do live in Michigan) It's already getting pretty darned cold here so I've already run the carb dry & drained the tank (twice) & brought it inside the house.
