Want information on Schwinn Cadillacs

I guess they were made by Schwinn, who bought the name from Shelby, who made them since the 1800's. Thats all I know. And I am not talking about the newer Cadillacs manufactured since 2005.
When did they stop making the old ones? Any pictures?
