Hello all.
With the price of the HF 2.5hp now at $64 until inventories last, there is no better time to get into motorized bikes.
My dilema is the following.
Which frame will this beast best fit in ? (I want an in frame installation).
Theses are all Walmart frames. (No I do not want to hear any rant about walmart, so if that is what the reply is going to be take it elsewhere please).
1. Genesis Onyx. I love this bike. Its 29", big wheels, aluminum frames and feels great for my 6.1' 225 frame. My only hesitation is the aluminum frame. If this was steel I would buy it on the spot.
2. Panama Jack. I love the look of this bike !. Steel frame. Feels OK.
3. Schwinn Clairmont. Nice "oldie" look. Steel frame. I took a tape measure and saw that the design of the main frame is identical to Panam Jack.
I am expecting to have to do a number of mods to these frames to make the HF 2.5HP.
I have a full up machine shop with Bridgeport mill, South Bend Lathe, metal saw, drill, TIG welding etc, so any machining or either iron, steel or aluminum welding is no issue.
Thank you for your input !
