Does the wider crank axle and arms that come with the sick bike parts shift kit clear a pull start?

Mine did not. I believe the SBP crank axle is a little wider than the one my bike originally came with, but it was not wide enough to push the left crank out beyond my pullstarter. The crank arms themselves are not bent outwards at all, and they are aluminum (not bendable, at least not from what I've read).
Easy fix though - I discarded SBP's left crank arm and then bought a cheap-o steel crank from my local bike shop. It's the same length as the SBP crank (170mm), and it even looks like a close match.
I stuck it in a bench vise and used a 6' length of pipe to bend it from both ends, making it curve out away from the bike, while keeping the pedal parallel to the ground.
Worked great.
