Well, it happened, my pride and joy was stolen from our shed last night. Someone cut the lock with a bolt cutter and made off with my favorite bike and a old chainsaw. The bike is VERY unique so if anyone sees it, give me a holler!

The bike is the one in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg2OMgy29vs

Attached is a recent picture when i started up three weeks ago for the season.

I want to destroy the ****** bags that steal bikes and motorized bikes. So uncool. I have had five bikes ripped off in Tempe, AZ (luckily not motorized) . In every possible scenario. If it is not in your hand it can quickly get in another. Sorry.

littletinman, I am sorry to hear that you were burglarized! I HATE thieves!
I hope that you can get your bike back quickly without any damage done to it.

Da Pedal, here is the original version of that lock: http://www.kryptonitelock.com/Pages/ProductInformation.aspx?PNumber=999492
Most bolt cutters cannot touch it. Grinders and chop saws take alot longer than expected to cut through them providing you with more reaction time to stop the thief.

yup thats the one. My bike build is almost complete and its not leaving the house without one. I'm even debating getting 2 of the smaller ones instead of 1 of 6' foot ones. Best to search around though , i think you can get em from velostar or somebody like that for 60 bucks but in reality its a $120 darn good lock

Always use the double lock method. One u lock through the chain stays and wheel, another to an immobile object.

My bike stays in the house.
