After a week or so of hi speed 40mph bursts, and a month or so on my chain its time for a tear down and lube sesh.
I am using royal purple synthetic heavy duty grease on the drive sprocket and in the clutch housing. I cleaned a few metal shavings presumably from the sprocket, chain and case out of the sprocket case. My spring tensioner i re-lubed my 10t sprocket.

I am using liquid wrench chain lube. I soaked the chain in a pan until it ran clear. then i put the chain in some shop towels and i am going to let it soak overnight. I'll pat it dry then replace everythign tommorrow.

The reason i am doing this is because i noticed the rollers on my chain were rattling. I hope i didnt wait too long.

Wow... When i get to the point where im cleaning my chain like that, i think ill have a special white coat that does up in the back. Seriously though, i wish that much care was taken in assembling my chain, i would just buy a new one each time.
