I knew someday, because I like to write and post a lot of stuff here, someone would mistake me for a person who had a clue about building bikes.

What I feared happened is that someone found my long DIY electric thread and thought that since it was so long that they didn't need to read it. If the person had read they would have realize that I know nothing at all. Instead that person got upset because I didn't stop everything on the thread for him.

I really should just keep quiet. Or at least ask that the threads I write be label editorial so people won't think they have any informative value at all.

Sounds like it is a personal problem (for the other person who thought you should drop everything).

I explained, I think pretty well, then suggested to them that if they didn't understand to see a moderator or the owner it seemed the best thing.
