congrats.

you might have problems further down the road if you're not using a gasket on the intake. any auto parts store will have sheets of gasket material for cheap that you can make your own out of.
Thats why the latest addition to my tool kit is a tube of gasket paste!

On a serious note - i'm looking into getting an intake that actually fits. The port on the engine is oval and my intake is round - about half the size - and it barely fits - the reason the gasket blew is because theres not enough gasket being compressed between the ill-alligned faces.

I'm looking for mini moto or pit bike intakes and exhausts (same problem on the exhaust side too) to try and get matched port sizes. I'm sure this will improve performance and economy (not that i'm complaining about mpg's).
