Electric Conversion
I'm looking to make this a long-range electric.
It's a tall order, but looking to make the cheapest setup that could do a pedal-assisted travel pushing 30 miles. This of course means the use of dry cells of some kind.
I'm also looking into regenerative braking, wind generation, and quick charging.
I'm looking to scavenge, yard sale, flea market, and fabricate most of what I need to complete the project.
If anyone has ideas on converting odd things into motorbicycling hardware, please drop me a line.

I'm just a hobbyist, and this is my first electric bike project. Any suggestions are welcome.

for that range you will need lithium batteries ... how big will depend on how much you are willing to pedal and the geography of the area where you ride.
