Welcome to the forum, Veteran. Thank you for sharing this amazing motorized bicycle with us.
If possible can you tell us a little about yourself and the bike. It appears to have a Chinese 2 stroke engine or is it one of the early Russian designs?

I think it's a proper Krasny Oktobr.
All privet.Ya sorry for bad English, I write with the help of an interpreter.
I'm a veteran of not professional motorsports, and started with a moped Riga-7.
There was nostalgia for mopeds and decided to build his own "flavor".
The base frame is taken from the Riga-11, D-6 engine of the Leningrad plant
"Red October" .Place petal valve and the carburetor from the Mini Moto
"Poket bike", electronic ignition of the Chinese F-50.

The burns, the skin taken off the hands, black oil that never washes off. Sometimes the moment when you ask why the road is so close to your face. You know you will never grow out of it, don't you?

Використання Google Translate:

Опіки, шкіра знята з рук, мазут, що ніколи не змиває. Іноді той момент, коли ви запитаєте, чому дорога так близько до вашої особи. Ви знаєте, ви ніколи не будете рости з цього, чи не так?

There was a Hungarian bicyle engine called Dongo. It was a copy of the East German Steppke, which itself was a copy of a JLO unit.

Був угорський велосипед двигун називається Донго. Це була копія Східної Німеччини Steppke, який сам по собі був екземпляр блока JLO.

I correct myself. The Dongo is a proper licence made Garelli Mosquito.

Я виправляю себе. Данго є належною ліцензії з Москітна.

You're right , Dongó produced in Hungary ! 955-1957 year license
Garelli Mosquito led Urbach László racer motorcycles
Mátra in 1939-1949

The Soviet Union also issued a similar engine in 1954-1955 under the name of "Irtysh"
Omsk Engine Plant Baranov .
I've seen such an engine , my friend , at the present time is a rarity .

Now his "brainchild" period of "childhood diseases". Trial versions with different
carburetors

All the same, I think to stay in the original

ca.
That orange bike looks like it has rear suspension. Would like to see it w/o the side covers to see how it was done. Whoops...page 2 shows it.
