hi folks , i just got hold of one of these frames for my new build.
AusEBike: The Australian Electric Bike
has some cool features like a super wide bottom bracket which will allow me too mount the 2 stroke right between the pedals (unless i try and cram it in the battery box!ive started by making an in frame gas tank, should fit 3litres i reckon. the first glitch ive come up against is the rear drop outs are 183mm wide(designed for electric hub motor which has died) .i was hoping to run a shift kit onto a internally geared hub but the only thing wide enough that ive found is a sturmey archer hub made for these 20x4.25 wheels. im pretty sure these hubs wont cope with a motor running through them.
im now toying with the idea of turning it into a trike to fix the problem... anyone got any ideas on a suitable hub?
