I am Essah, I am having a tremendous problem. I cannot get my friction drive to reach any sensible speed as of yet. Except mostly when going down hill, but as of now it is just like a bicycle that gets a little help from the engine. I put plenty of air in my tire. I tighten my bolts. Ive put the roller on the tire heavy and on the tire light etc. There is one thing that I think that maybe my trouble. I do want to ask for some opinions before i spend my money though. I attached the clutch that I bought from BGF and I am using that as my throttle. Is this what is slowing me down. Should I spend money on the lever style throttle that looks like it operates on the same principles as the clutch. Please help me I'm in a bind.
