Hi from Salem Oregon land of rain o' plenty

Hi everyone I'm from Oregon. Built my first springer cruiser last fall a 49cc skyhawk. I'll post some pics when I figure it out. I have some posted on motoredbikes.com forum check em out. I'm going to swap out for a bigger 2stroke now that I am street legal. What a hoop dance that was. I'm hoping to find some riders in Oregon maybe have some rides this spring after my rebuild. I'll probably build a few more this spring just for giggles. I'm already scheming to built a 125cc lifan 4stroke 3speed mtn bike maybe full suspension. I'll have to fab this idea out still. Give me a hollr' let's ride pilgrim!

My bike is running now but I'm going to swap out motors in a few weeks for a bigger one. I hope we get some not rain soon so I can ride again. Let me know if you are coming up some time we could get a coffee and you could check out my build. I come to C town about once a month to see my son at OSU I could bring my bike down if we can arrange it and have a coffee and ride there so keep me posted I may come in a week or so I'll try to find an afternoon without rain.

My cruiser does have fenders but my brakes are marginal at best even on a dry day. I have front and rear brakes but I still have to think ahead to stop where I want. So drizzle rides are still a challenge. The extended forecast says maybe Sat. the 1st may have no rain. I'll keep chick'n the weather and I have to make sure my kid is around; he usually is for a money infusion.
