i have a pocket bike pipe and i was thinking of cutting the cone part out of the pipe and welding it between the end of the header and the muffler of the stock pipe.

i wanted to know if anyone has done this before ? if so how did it ride ?

the muffler on an expansion chamber doesn't matter at all. it's basically just a bleed valve for spent exhaust. it won't effect the performance (unless it's plugged up.)

as far as pocket bike x chambers go, i had one and my bike went slower, so i chopped it up and made a long header pipe with the chamber coming out behind the rear wheel.

looked cool, sounded loud, didn't do crap for performance.

Gut the stock pipe and add some conduit. Mine sounds much more like a motorcycle engine and less like a weedeater.

The power picked up a bit as well, but not much.
