I'm hoping to install a 66cc sky hawk & SBP shift kit on this aluminum frame towine. Do you think I can have a tube welded between the post the front derailer is hanging on and the top tube? Do you know of some other way of hanging the power train?

a longer reach front motor mount, even a longer rear one is possible, maybe one of the mounts they sell for the chopper bikes w/the angle tubes on a plate ,then mount the plate

and if there is room for the motor w/ the post welded in above the de-railer,that would work,,there would be a lot of room for the shift kit between the two, seat post and welded post

the shift kit is mounted to the same tube as the motor so I think this is the easiest fix. If it can be done. I know nothing about welding aluminum. I do have a bike builder that I can talk to about this.
