So the other day my wife got given a old Raleigh women's bike from the 70's. The crank has a freewheel built in and the rear axle has multiple freewheels each gear freewheels separately of each other, only the gear with the chain on it freewheels.
Does anyone know about these systems, my main question is can the front freewheel crank be put on another bike or will it only work on the Raleigh I want to use it for a jack shaft that is in progress. I would like to put the front freewheel on a sealed crank.
