My maniac mechanic rear sprocket from pirate is pretty darn hot to the touch after about 10-15 minutes... Is that normal or is my sprocket an evil freak of nature.

The wheel is true
The sprocket is true
About 1/2 of play in the chain
415 chain
Yada yada yada

Running a coaster brake? You sure you don't have a load on the brake? I always find with coaster brakes that after you use the brake it's good to pedal 1-2 times forward to be sure the brake releases completely.

Yup, that and aluminum just transfers heat fast as well as it heats up fast with any friction.
