Exhaust Cap needed?

im running a stock exhaust on my 66cc bike engine and looking for more power like any one and i heard that removing the cap with add power. ia this bad for the engine and does it actually add any power. also any cheap mods that you know of that will add power. usflg

Removing the cap sometimes improves power, but at the cost of being annoyingly loud and obnoxious. Get a tuned pipe for the best bang for the buck in power adding mods.
Bigger carbs are useless without the mods required to take advantage.
A good tuned pipe is the single best bolt on I know of.
Might try a smaller rear sprocket for lower rpm at cruising speed and better top end.

Do the hobby and your neighbors a big favor and keep the muffler as is. Maniac's suggestion is the way to go. An expansion chamber exhaust will add some power and not make enemies. The small amount of power increase you might see by uncorking the exhaust isn't worth the negative attention.
