My MB has a 24X2.125 rear wheel. I have a 24X3.00 tire I would like to mount on it. Can it be done on the current rim or do I need a different size rim to accomodate the new tire? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dan

You're going to need a 24" rim. Also you need to make sure there's clearance for that width of tire on the chainstays.

I just mounted a 3" on an Alex DM18 (half the width of the previous rim); worked fine.

Just be careful when mounting that you don't pinch the tube.

I kinda wanted to know the same thing! hehehe.

I have a 26X1.95 tire, and I wanted to swap it for a 26X2.00

Would that work?
