Ok... you see where that 'elbow' goes into the twist grip housing?? screw that in more!!! you can even get rid of the lock nut!
The next thing you can do is to get rid of the round lock nut on the top of the carb adjuster!!!
Those things will give you a longer cable.

So does everyone have to remove these nuts and junk to get a longer cable? I don't know how to take off the nuts anyways without clipping them off which i don't know is necessary... Even screwing in that elbow piece and junk, it only gave me a couple millimeters more of cable.....
ugh...

From your pictures the cable looks exactly the right length. You DO have to compress the spring to insert the cable into the groove.

Out of a few dozen installs from different vendors I've never seen a clutch cable too short. Almost, but not too short once the adjusters were screwed in. Never had to remove nuts either.
